1. THE TRUSTY TUNIC
A lightweight piece you can wear as a top, dress and cover-up is a must-have on your travel list. Tammy’s style tip: Wear it loose to the beach over a bikini, or belt it and pair it with flats for a casual city look.
2. THE VERSATILE TRENCH
Pack a cropped version. “[It’s] easier to travel with, can act like a blazer or a coat, and can transition from day to night,” says Tammy. Stick to a neutral hue in lightweight nylon or cotton — both are great fabrics for warm-weather climates.
3. THE ALL-WEATHER JEAN
This wardrobe staple is essential from the plane to the playa. Choose one in a light shade (it’s summer after all!) with nylon or Lycra for stretch and comfort. Tammy’s style tip: Pair it with a cotton tank and cardigan or vest for day, then swap with a floaty tank and glitzy sandal for evening.

Essential items for your makeup bag: sunscreen is a must anywhere, as well as a camouflaging concealer (to disguise those late nights), an anti-aging exfoliator (for a smooth, bright complexion) and — to show off your flirty dresses — a reliable razor for a close shave.
