Color expert Marcy Cona is serious about hair color. “I want every woman to be given the opportunity to enjoy the experience of hair color — the beauty of hair color is personal,” she says. Drawn to the energy and vibrancy of salons for as long as she can remember, Marcy landed a job as a salon assistant at the ripe age of 14 and instantly knew that hair color and style would be her lifelong passions. The rest, as they say, is history.

As Clairol’s global creative director, Marcy is in charge of bringing the color and style of Clairol to life. Specifically, she oversees the aesthetic of Clairol’s broadcast and print advertising, and is involved in everything from casting models to waving her makeover wand to change their hair color. This energetic color expert also forecasts beauty trends, works one-on-one with celebrity talent, serves as a media spokesperson and collaborates with Clairol’s research and development team on creating shade palettes for all Clairol brands.
