Ever wonder what happens to your hair when you color it? Just ask Dr. Frauke Neuser, principal scientist for P&G Beauty. She can tell you how hair works — down to the molecule.
After receiving a master’s degree in chemistry from the German University of Karlsruhe, Frauke completed her Ph.D. at the University of Hanover working in biotechnology, fragrance and flavor chemistry. It was all prep work for her big role in beauty.
As the Global Scientific Communication Manager for Hair Color, she focuses on customer dilemmas and spends her time coming up with technical solutions to your hair-care and color issues. She researches hot topics on hair color and shares her expertise at conferences around the world.
In her spare time, Frauke enjoys traveling and practicing her extensive language skills — as well as helping Rouge readers solve their hair predicaments!
